My name is Karen, I live in the Netherlands and have been creating visuals ever since I was a little kid (at that time it was more about drawing and making animal collages). This developed into a love for creation in various forms. I create my artworks by using mixed media. I love creating abstract paintings with acrylics, water, crayons and pencils. But also illustrating very precisely with ink or digitally on my drawing pad. I like the juxtaposition of these different styles and it inspires me in different ways. I have a degree in Fashion & Branding from the Amsterdam Fashion Institute.
